Due to the growing economic crisis affected by illegal immigration, it is essential to the Security and Economic recovery of the United States that we clearly define and enforce Immigration laws and policies.

America has a long history of welcoming diverse peoples who have positively contributed to our nation’s core values and cultural fabric.  One of those values that has made the United States the most desirable place to immigrate to is that its laws are equally and fairly applied to all United States Citizens and legal residents. 

However, years of inaction and misguided amnesty polices have lead to an illegal immigration crisis in America. It is apparent that each granting of amnesty for illegal immigrants is followed by further growth of the illegal population hoping for another amnesty.

The shunning of our core values of adherence to laws and applying them equally and fairly has impacted all Americans and legal residents. It casts question on the fairness to those Resident Immigrants and newly granted Citizens who patiently and respectfully followed U.S. and Immigration laws and regulations to gain the honor of becoming a U.S. Citizen. Now, the growing number of undocumented illegal immigrants is straining the budget of many states and cities with skyrocketing costs for education, social services and health care as well as impacting the security of the United States.  It is time to enforce our core values and reaffirm our commitment to the laws of the United States of America and not reward unlawful behavior. 

ACTIONS NEEDED

1. Enact true Immigration reform (not amnesty) and effective border control.
2. Quickly secure our borders by applying technology, barriers and various joint agency operations along with flex force operations to control who and what enters the country by also controlling where they can make entry.
3. Develop a partnership with the nations on our contiguous borders to jointly combat illegal immigration.
4. Do NOT allow illegal aliens to attend government subsidized colleges at preferential rates of tuition.
