Fred Cullis, with his common sense approach, represents the first wave of a new generation of Republicans. As an entrepreneur, family man and volunteer Fred understands the issues and challenges facing the people of Delaware. With a commanding presence and the passion to cut through the politics as usual, Fred is committed to serving the people of Delaware, by boldly carrying their voice to the floor of Legislative Hall.
My mission is to serve the people of Delaware, My experience as a local business owner and community activist position me to serve as an effective leader.Fred’s early career launched him into an international business position with Johnson & Johnson, enabling him to learn the intricacy and complexity of global commerce and economics. His position at Johnson & Johnson took him to major economic centers including Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Australia, Europe, Great Britain, Canada and Mexico.
As an entrepreneur running his own business, located in Hockessin, Delaware, since 1991, Fred understands careful contemplation when taking risks. Pursuing a common sense approach, the mission of Cullis Associates is to serve regional industries and advanced manufacturers together for solutions to complex problems. Fred’s leadership has enabled him to successfully navigate the issues small businesses face. He understands the challenges of increasing taxes and health care costs in a down economy.
Always committed to the community and to the state of Delaware, Fred’s leadership continues to make lasting contributions which result in a safer and more prosperous environment. His commitment to serve is demonstrated by his contributions that include:

- Licensed amateur radio operator, KB3IEM, and CARES Emergency Radio Service;
- Certified Pet Therapy Volunteer, PAWS for People;
- Instructor and Life member, NRA;
- Licensed sailplane and single engine airplane pilot;
- Award winning and published photographer.
The oldest of four children, Fred was born to John and Nancy Cullis in Plainfield, New Jersey. He graduated from Bridgewater-Raritan High School West in 1972 and from Rider College in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Marketing. Fred was married on Memorial Day Weekend, 2009, to wife, Barbara Ann Cullis. Their new family consists of two daughters, one son, and a bevy of pets.
